another redraw from a 2010 version. I always liked the colours of the original, but the anatomy was horrendous =_=...
So I've been planning to redraw this for a long time now and this was the perfect occasion.

The atmosphere of the picture just changed a lot. I feel like the girl from the original had something "strong" and proud with her dynamic posture, but now that's changed to grief. She's been shedding tears before, but now she's at a standstill, exhausted and bereft of hope.

It fits my perception of the girl which is imprisoned by a painful love pretty good. It's very hard to see, but there's a blurry heart inside the light sphere she's holding.
